Family to Family

Tuesdays, February 28-May 16, 6:30-9 pm | To register, contact NAMI at 331-3300.

Designed specifically for families with a loved one suffering from mental illness, Family to Family is an in-depth course developed by NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) and offered at Taylors FBC in the spring and fall of each year. Discover that you’re not alone, receive encouragement from compassionate leaders who’ve walked in your shoes, and gain valuable insight along with survival skills for the journey with your loved one. For more information or to register for the next course, contact NAMI at 331-3300.

“After years of struggling alone with our son’s addictions and mental uncertainties, Family to Family provided a safe, loving, and knowledgeable context in which we found hope and strength. God used the leaders and fellow participants to show us we were not alone and that He is at work in the midst of the journey. We would strongly encourage anyone who loves someone with addictions and/or mental health to take advantage of this excellent resource.” Family to Family Participant

Hopenet

Because everyone faces storms at various times in life, Taylors First Baptist Church created HopeNet to offer hope and healing to those facing difficult times and to meet specific needs in the community around us. Our compassionate leaders are mobilized to reach out through support groups and ministry teams formed to address physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of those who need hope for the future.
