Love like Jesus happens when we live in committed relationships.
Jesus is more than a courteous host. He becomes a gracious slave.
Barriers to loving like Jesus: entitlement and expectations.
“The body of Christ is full of people who are standing on their dignity when they ought to be kneeling at the feet of their brother.” – John MacArthur (Sermon on John 13)
The old command never went away, it had just taken on new meaning through the cross.
“The gospel is this: We are more sinful and flawed in ourselves than we ever dared believe, yet at the same time we are more loved and accepted in Jesus Christ than we ever dared hope.” –

The Gospel places us into the community.
