June 19, 2016 | Sermon Notes

James 4:13-17

1. Planning with control over your future in mind is planning without God in mind.
2. Life is uncertain, short, and out of our control.
3. Condition your mind and heart to see that all my possessions, relationships, and plans belong to God.

Prayer: plan nothing without petitioning God.

Practice: do nothing without the permission of God.

4. Leaving God out of our plans is living in prideful rebellion.
