We are intentional about creating environments that are safe, age appropriate, and fun!
We partner with parents in the discipleship process to help their children encounter God through teaching, worship, and life group activities.
We equip and encourage parents as the primary disciple-makers to clearly point their child to who God is and what Jesus has done for them.
We engage the community around us in order to proclaim Jesus.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Love him with all your strength. The commandments I give you today must be in your hearts. Make sure your children learn them. Talk about them when you are at home. Talk about them when you go to bed. And speak about them when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:5-7

Mom to Mom is a Biblically based parenting program, designed around the Titus 2:4 concept of older women teaching and encouraging younger women. This is a time for mothers to come together, cultivate relationships with other moms, learn from each other in a loving, Christ-centered environment. Mom to Mom gathers on Wednesday mornings and Wednesday evenings from September – April . Childcare is provided.

We have a Welcome Team at the desk in preschool and in elementary who are happy to serve you. Someone from our Welcome Team will gather basic information from you about your child. Please complete the form at the bottom of this page to save you some time and send us the information before your visit.
We will contact parents via text message.
We follow the same schedule as the South Carolina school system. September 1 is the cutoff for each grade level. (e.g. – a current 4-year-old who turns 5 on September 12 will be in K4 for the fall of 2019.)
All of our volunteers go through a background check and must be an active member of Taylors FBC. We also reach out to references listed on the volunteer application.
We do not have a preference on this but our curriculum uses the NIV & NIRV.
We encourage you and your child to meet with our Minister of Children to discuss their profession of faith in Jesus and the next step of baptism.
As you complete the guest form with our Welcome Team, you can notify us about any allergies. The allergies will be printed on the child’s security badge. Our volunteers are required to get permission from our team before introducing any snacks to the children.
Our volunteers are trained to handle evacuations and have been informed of the proper protocols to follow. Your child’s volunteers will escort your child to their appropriate safety area. Do not pick-up your child if there is a building evacuation.
Our goal is to have a “buddy” accompany each child with special needs. We have a sensory room in case the small or large group environment becomes overwhelming. We will be launching a curriculum in the fall, adjusted to better accommodate children with special needs.
K5 is considered preschool at Taylors Children. Current K5 students will move to 1st grade at the end of August in 2019.
Complete the form below and we’ll be ready for you.
