Our Beliefs
Taylors First Baptist is a Southern Baptist Church. We desire to instruct and strengthen believers so that they are equipped to love God and evangelize the world. To carry out this ministry, we stand on the fundamental preaching and teaching of the inerrant Word of God. As a Southern Baptist Church, we subscribe to the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 as our key doctrinal statement.

Baptism
Christian baptism symbolizes the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in new life in Christ. To learn more about baptism, please contact us via email or by phone at 864-678-8833.
The Lord's Supper
Observing the Lord’s Supper is a vivid reminder of the sacrificial death of Jesus. A believer’s participation enables them to more firmly grasp all that Jesus has done for them through His death on the cross. It is also a time when believers can re-commit themselves to Christ.
We observe the Lord’s Supper once a quarter as a church family.
