Facilities Associate (Part-Time)
Taylors First Baptist Church is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our Facilities team. This part-time position is responsible for helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our church family, guests, and ministry activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the building for maintenance issues and communicate concerns to on-call maintenance staff.
- Secure the facility following programs, events, and ministry activities.
- Maintain clean, safe event spaces, including trash removal, spot cleaning, restroom checks, and responding to spills or other cleanup needs as they arise.
- Support the overall cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the church campus.
Position Details
- Part-Time
- Hourly, Non-Exempt
- 10-15 Hours per Week
- Schedule varies based on church programming and facility needs
- Primarily Sunday afternoons and evening shifts

Director of Kindergarten
Taylors First Baptist Church is seeking a Christ-centered Director of Kindergarten to lead our thriving kindergarten ministry within the Taylors First Pre-Academy.
As a ministry of Taylors First Baptist Church, the Pre-Academy exists to love, teach, and care for children with the heart of Jesus while laying a Christ-centered foundation that supports the church's mission of Encountering God, Equipping Believers, Engaging the World, and Establishing the Church.
The Director provides spiritual, educational, and operational leadership for the kindergarten program, fostering a Christ-centered, nurturing, and academically excellent environment where children, families, and staff flourish. This leader will oversee daily operations, develop and mentor teachers, provide curriculum oversight, build strong partnerships with families, ensure compliance with South Carolina licensing requirements, and collaborate with church leadership to advance the mission of the Pre-Academy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Meets South Carolina DSS Director qualifications
- Leadership experience in early childhood or elementary education
- Strong communication, organizational, and team leadership skills
- A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and wholehearted support of the mission and beliefs of Taylors First Baptist Church
Position Details
- Full-time (35 hours per week)
- 46-week position
- Schedule: 7:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. (mid-August through mid-May)
- Reduced summer schedule
