Receptionist

The receptionist serves as the welcoming face of our Church Office. This role greets visitors, answers phones, and provides excellent customer service to guests, members, and callers. The receptionist supports the associate pastor, deacons, and ministry teams with administrative tasks including preparing meeting materials, maintaining prayer request records, coordinating event scheduling, assisting with funeral arrangements, managing office supplies, and providing general secretarial support. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and has a heart for serving the church and its members.

Children’s Ministry Assistant

The Children’s Ministry Assistant will serve Taylors FBC by supporting the Minister of Children and Children’s Coordinator in implementing a comprehensive, biblically-based ministry for preschool (infant through kindergarten) and elementary (first through fifth grade) children and their families. This role primarily involves performing administrative duties while maintaining an active relational ministry presence and includes regular participation on select Sundays and Wednesdays each month.

What We Are Looking For

  • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to children’s ministry
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality
  • Experience coordinating schedules, preparing curriculum, and managing classroom materials and supplies
  • Ability to support communications, reporting, and social media efforts
  • Team-oriented with a servant’s heart; able to assist volunteers and maintain ministry databases
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Employment Type: Part-time (20–25 hours per week) including select Sundays and Wednesdays
