Director of Finance and Administration (Full-Time)
Taylors First Baptist Church in Taylors is seeking a full-time Director of Finance and Administration to oversee the church’s financial, human resources, and administrative operations in support of its mission and ministries. Reporting to the Executive Pastor, this position provides strategic and day‑to‑day leadership in budgeting, accounting, risk management, and staff administration to ensure sound stewardship and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ, a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field (master’s preferred), and 7–10+ years of experience in financial and administrative leadership, preferably in a church or nonprofit setting of similar complexity. Proven skills in team supervision, strategic planning, and financial reporting, along with proficiency in accounting and office software, are essential. Because of the fiduciary nature and confidentiality of this position, preference will be given to candidates who are not current members of Taylors FBC.

Human Resources Coordinator (Part-Time)
Taylors First Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Human Resources Coordinator to support the effective and efficient operation of the church’s HR responsibilities within the finance and administration department. This role will coordinate recruitment and onboarding, maintain accurate and confidential personnel records, facilitate third-party payroll processing and timekeeping, and administer employee benefits (insurance/retirement). Serve as point of contact for staff questions regarding policies, payroll, benefits, and HR processes. The ideal candidates will hold an associate’s degree (HR/business bachelor’s preferred), with 3-5 years of experience in HR/ business administration (church/nonprofit ideal), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and confidentiality, proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, and the ability to learn HRIS/payroll systems. Due to confidentiality, preference will be given to candidates who are not current members of Taylors FBC.
