Director of Administration and Finance
The Director of Finance and Administration is responsible to the Executive Pastor for planning, conducting, and evaluating all operational, administrative, and financial functions of the church to support and advance its mission and ministries. This role provides strategic and day‑to‑day leadership for finance, human resources, and administrative systems, enabling pastors, ministry staff, and lay leaders to focus on shepherding, discipleship, and outreach.
What We Are Looking For
- Mature Christian faith, aligned with our mission, values, and commitment to the church’s doctrinal statement
- Proven integrity, discretion in confidential matters, and collaborative servant-leadership with strong relational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- 7–10+ years of financial leadership experience (church or nonprofit preferred)
- Proven supervisory and team leadership skills
- Experienced financial professional that can manage an annual budgeting process to align with ministry plans, banking relationships, all aspects of an annual external audit, internal controls, cash flow and cash forecasting, and provide strategic fiscal guidance.
- Proficiency in financial and church-management software; ACS Financial Suite and Planning Center experience a plus
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
