Summary
John the Baptist identified Jesus as the Lamb of God. Two of John’s followers, including Andrew, followed Jesus. Andrew then told his brother, Simon (whom Jesus renamed Peter), about the Messiah. Jesus later called Philip, who in turn invited Nathanael to meet Jesus. Though unsure at first, Nathanael recognized Jesus as the Son of God.
Jesus continued to gather 12 disciples from diverse backgrounds. These men witnessed His teachings, miracles and ministry.
