Summary
Jesus entered the temple and drove out the money changers and merchants who had used the temple of the Lord as a way to fill their pockets. He said to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it a den of robbers.” The chief priests and scribes heard this and began to search for a way to get rid of Him because they feared the impact His teaching was having on the crowds.
