Moms Mentoring Moms ended their Fall time together with a tailgate party. The tailgate theme was chosen because of the emphasis on working together as a team and focusing on developing community in a way that is God-honoring. When asked what the most meaningful aspects of Moms Mentoring Moms have been so far, the vast majority spoke of developing and deepening relationships and spiritual growth as moms. Donna Davies and Marlene Vernon planned the event based on those two principles. The moms enjoyed food, fun and football-related games interspersed with encouragement and exhortation.
The church can pray for our group by asking God for His continuing guidance, wisdom and peace in every home represented. We ask for God to give the moms the strength to be strong spiritual leaders.
The church can join us as we praise God for a wonderful time of growing together.
