Myrtle Beach Reach Trip

The Establish Network Interns finished the Summer serving together in Conway, South Carolina. We had the opportunity to work alongside Jamestown Baptist Church and Impact Church to engage their communities with the gospel. Our team prayer-walked local neighborhoods, taking the opportunity to pray for individuals and share the gospel where God opened doors. It was powerful to walk alongside the pastors and members of the local church to pray and share the gospel in their community! 

As our team traveled back and forth from our hotel to the churches each day, we had the opportunity to grow in our understanding of what it means to abide, go, share, and disciple! Every opportunity was taken to disciple and make disciples. Even an evening of outreach, that seemed to be washed out by rain, turned into a time of training and prayer! 

One of the most powerful moments on the trip happened on Saturday evening, in the lobby of the hotel as our team gathered to go out for dinner. A young man, waiting for his dinner to be delivered, simply struck up a conversation with one of the members of our team. A little over an hour later, the conversation ended with the young man believing, repenting, and following Jesus.  He was invited to join us the next morning to walk through the first lesson of Disciple Cycle. In the lobby of the hotel, on a busy Sunday morning, many of the team met with the new believer to study God’s Word together! We had the opportunity to watch him experience his first steps of growth as a new creation! Awesome!

What an incredible blessing to serve side-by-side with one another for the sake of the gospel—interns, residents, pastors, churches—working together to Change the World for Jesus!
