Summary
John was sent to the Greek Island of Patmos as punishment for spreading the good news of Jesus. While in exile, an angel appeared to John. The angel showed him visions, gave instructions, and encouraged new believers. John recorded what he was shown including how Jesus will return and God’s new heaven and new earth. Because of Jesus, we can have eternal life with God in heaven.
