This summer marked my third year traveling to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to serve alongside the Peacock family at Summer Youth Celebration Camp. I’ve had the privilege of leading worship for students, and each time I return, my heart grows even more for the ministry taking place there. I count it an honor to use the gift God has given me to point students to Jesus—not just by leading songs, but by teaching them how to worship and what it truly means to worship.

Over the years, I’ve been able to guide them in discovering that worship can take many forms: there’s a time for jumping, clapping, and celebrating with joy, and there’s also a time to stand in awe and stillness before the Holy Spirit. Watching students grasp this balance and grow deeper in their walk with the Lord has been incredible. Relationships are forming and deepening—not only between the students and me, but most importantly between them and God.

I’m so thankful for the chance to return year after year, to watch God move in powerful ways, and to be a small part of the beautiful story He’s writing in their lives.
