We are proud of our students who have been actively serving and making an impact in the community. Several of our college students joined forces for Hurricane Helene cleanup efforts, spreading out across the upstate for hard work and compassion and offering hope for those in need. They gave their time and energy to help restore hope in the aftermath of the storm and share the Gospel.

During Fall Break, many of our students took a much-needed rest, spending time away to recharge and reconnect. Despite the break in the academic schedule, we continued to gather for worship, fellowship, and growth at The Gathering. It’s always refreshing to come together in the middle of the week.

A special highlight last month was when I had the privilege of preaching to over 400 students at the Anderson BCM. It was a powerful night of worship and teaching from Esther 6. Some of our college students met up with me to enjoy dinner at a local favorite, JC’s – an iconic spot in Anderson, serving “Bird-Dogs.”

As the semester winds down, we ask for your continued prayers for our students. These final weeks can be stressful as they juggle studies, exams, and ministry commitments. Pray that they will finish the semester strong and continue to shine as lights for Christ on their campuses.

Thank you for your ongoing support and prayers! We look forward to seeing what God continues to do in and through these students.

Deep Roots, Strong Limbs.
Alex Smith, Minister of College and Young Adults
