tsm Summit Recap

tsm Summit 2023 was a blast and I had a great time serving and learning more about the topic “Why I Don’t Share the Gospel.” I was the leader for the 9th grade boys and was pleased to hear how well they listened to each of the lessons. They were all interactive in our discussion and seemed to have gained a better understanding on why we have a hard time sharing the good news about Christ. The boys also grew closer through all the fun games. Even the free time was used to deepen and strengthen friendships. In my opinion, tsm Summit 2023 was a huge success!

I enjoyed spending time with friends and playing Secret Church. More importantly, God really worked in me and showed me that there is a sense of urgency in the Gospel. It needs to be shared right now. There are people in our neighborhood who don’t even know the Gospel.

Jack Gregory, 9th Grade

During tsm Summit, we talked about why fear is stopping us from sharing the Gospel with others and how we are able to overcome it. The sessions showed me that if we wait for fear to disappear, we will never share the Gospel with others. There will always be fear present but it shouldn’t stop us from sharing about Jesus. We also played some fun games that brought our small groups closer together which allowed us to become more open with each other.

Caroline Foster, 11th Grade

At tsm Summit, I could feel God speaking to me. The messages were exactly what I needed. I tend to worry about what other people are thinking of me and it caused me to be too anxious to share with my friends and family. But after this weekend, I am much more comfortable and I don’t need to worry, because they are not rejecting me, but God himself. I am so thankful I got the opportunity to be at tsm Summit!

A couple weeks ago I was privileged to go to tsm Summit. During this weekend I had a ton of fun, but most importantly I was able to learn how to share the gospel and why I sometimes don’t share. tsm Summit helped me learn how to confidently share my faith with others in my life by becoming bold in the truth of Christ. Overall, tsm Summit was a fantastic weekend where I learned new ways to share my faith. All students should make a point to come on the next retreat!
